Even though I was born and raised in Central Asia, I consider myself a true New Yorker (shout-out to Queens). Starting up a business has always been a big dream for me as it was relocating to the U.S. I was lucky enough to have done both. Being involved in every step of establishing a retail operation with an online presence has enabled me to understand what “thinking globally, acting locally” truly means. My journey has ultimately led me to UX, through which I am able to showcase my background, experience, vision and inspiration. I can confidently state that I started seeing the world through a different lens after discovering UX. I guess I have officially UX’d my life?
